Supply Chain Management

Supply chain managers are engaged in every facet of business – planning, purchasing, production, transportation, storage & distribution, customer service, and more! They are the “glue” that connects the different parts of the organization. Their performance helps organizations, their customers, and their suppliers control expenses, boost sales, and maximize profits. Supply chain jobs require problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. With supply chain spending growing faster than the overall economy, there is an attractive job market. New college grads can start their supply chain careers in a wide variety of organizations, including manufacturers, retailers, transportation companies, government agencies, and service firms. Entry level jobs include supply chain analyst, customer service manager, demand planner, project manager, and production scheduler.
