Master of Business Administration with Marketing Concentration
The focus of marketing is to create product and service offerings that result in satisfied customers and to form long term relationships. To accomplish this, successful marketing managers must have analytic and communication skills combined with substantial knowledge of modern marketing practices. The Marketing Area at the Rawls College of Business supports this integrated view of marketing by covering marketing research, buyer behavior, product management, and services marketing in the context of industrial, service, and international marketing. Most marketing courses in the MBA curriculum emphasize the practical application of marketing knowledge and research.
Students must complete at least 9 hours from the following courses:
- MKT 5358 Business-to-Business Marketing
- MKT 5359 Individual Study in Marketing
- MKT 5361 Marketing Administration
- MKT 5362 Multinational Marketing
- MKT 5363 e-Marketing
- MKT 5367 Behavior in Markets
- MKT 5368 Macromarketing
- MKT 5364 Services Marketing
MBA students who graduate from the Rawls College of Business with a Marketing concentration are exposed to a curriculum with a strong professional orientation.
